About Sports Career Consulting

After working for nearly a decade as an executive in the world of professional sports, Sports Career Consulting founder, Chris Lindauer, formed SCC to serve the needs of three distinct groups; students interested in pursuing careers in the sports and entertainment industry, business and marketing teachers dedicated to developing or enhancing their curriculum and businesses who understand the importance of helping the future of students by forming partnerships with the educational community.

During his tenure with three different professional sports teams, Chris was very involved with local schools and their student leadership organizations. While working closely with those schools and organizations, it became apparent that schools lacked significant resources to successfully educate students about the business of sports and entertainment. More importantly, with the demand for jobs in this exciting field greatly exceeding supply, students desperately needed opportunities to gain the experience necessary to pursue a career in the industry. Chris, with the support of industry executives from many professional teams, sports and entertainment organizations, decided to further develop sports and entertainment business education programs and provide the experiences necessary to open the door to a brighter future.
